We use suppliers that make products that follow fair trade and ethical labor policies.
We give priority to U.S. companies and those in democratic countries.
We believe the consumer has the right to know where a product is manufactured or sourced from and where possible we list the relevant information on each item.
We focus on fair trade and organic cotton, hemp, and recycled fabrics.
Screen Printing & Inks:
Our U.S. screen-printer specializes in eco-friendly production, using only the most sustainable materials and processes when printing our custom apparel. Most other screen printing companies use a toxic, petroleum-based ink called ‘plastisol’ that contains resins and plastics. Our organic, water-based inks are not only better for the environment, they're better for your skin and more comfortable to wear.
Our screen-printer uses the world’s most eco-friendly GOTS certified organic, vegan, water-based ink. These inks offer the softest and most durable prints possible.
Our inks do not contain ozone-depleting chemicals such as CFCs, HCFCs, aromatic hydrocarbons or volatile solvents. They are also free of lead, heavy metals and toxic chemicals. Our inks passed the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 Class 1 and are safe to use on underwear and baby clothes (infants under 2 years). They were also granted approval by the Soil Association in the U.K., having successfully met the requirements of the Global Organic Textiles Standards (GOTS) for use in organic textile processing. The ink ingredients are not sourced from animals and our inks are not tested on animals. Ingredients that are sourced from plants are certified GMO free!
DIRECT-TO-GARMENT (DTG) PRINTING
Direct-to-garment (DTG) printing is a printing method that uses ink to print directly onto the fabric or item of your choice. The ink goes straight into the fibers of the fabric, so you don’t feel the design or ink when you touch it.
We use DTG to print on demand because there’s almost no setup time, which means we can print the designs quickly and send them your way as soon as possible.
For our DTG prints, our printer uses Kornit machines and inks. Kornit uses high-quality, water-based, vegan and cruelty-free inks that they formulate, test, and produce in their own factories.
